The Curls Pirate's Voyage
On the coastline of southern England in the 18th century, there was a small town called Haven, surrounded by cliffs and verdant hills.
Here lived a woman named Sapphira, who had fluffy silver curly hair like waves, always fluttering in the sea breeze. She looked at the distant horizon every day, imagining those distant lands that she had never set foot on.
When she was 25 years old, facing the fate of being forced to marry someone she didn't love, Sapphira chose to resist. She wanted to be a free pirate, so she hid her thick curly hair under her tricorn hat and started a thrilling voyage.
Sapphira encountered a sudden storm on her first voyage. Huge waves hit the hull and strong winds tore the canvas.
When other sailors panicked, Sapphira climbed the mast and tied the shaky mainsail in the roaring wind and rain. The captain was surprised at the courage of this "novice pirate".
Over the next few months, Sapphira quickly mastered sailing skills, learning how to navigate by the stars, how to predict wind direction, and how to repair the hull.
One evening, when the ship was passing the waters near Sicily, a Spanish merchant ship full of cargo appeared. The captain ordered an interception.
When the pirate ship and the merchant ship were parallel, Sapphira showed amazing swordsmanship. Her curly hair scattered from under the hat, flying like flames in the battle, scaring the opponent into thinking they had encountered a sea witch.
"We only take ill-gotten gains, not innocent people," Sapphira shouted to the merchant ship. The captain began to look at her with admiration.
In a fierce battle with the Royal Navy, the captain was seriously injured and dying, and handed over the command of the ship to Sapphira.
From then on, the pirate ship became the most feared ship on the sea but the most beloved ship by civilians. Sapphira not only robbed the rich to help the poor, but also established a secret haven to provide shelter for women who escaped from unhappy marriages and oppression.
One evening, Sapphira stood on the deck and watched the sunset. The golden-red sunlight sprinkled on the rolling waves, and the breeze blew away her waist-length curly hair. A young crew member asked her: "Captain, where are we going next?"
Sapphira smiled and replied: "No matter which direction the wind blows, we will find our own route."
